“Knit Your Own Sunshine”

This warm, cosy series translated to the final images almost exactly how I sketched it. Though a long time coming, what with the learning how to knit (poorly) and then tossing this nice 5 color vertical double stockinette stitch into the mix… it came together bit-by-bit.

To capture, I operated the camera with my toes while knitting/playing with the yarn.

Conemplations:

Patience is a virtue, I think I heard that somewhere ;) and if that’s true, then knitting must be the ultimate level of virtue in action. The faster I go, the more rumples and bumps and holes I make. The nice thing about yarn is you can always unravel and start a new. Try doing that with your Facebook history.
